Why DeSantis Banned AP African American Studies

Ron DeSantis has barred public high schools in Florida from offering the AP African American Studies course for many reasons. One of those reasons is that it teaches “queer theory”. It is good that he is doing this, but what I don’t think he understands is that the point of public education is to push a political agenda.
