Diversity in Medicine for Equity in Healthcare

Meet Morgan Stanley, a first-generation college freshman from Tougaloo College with a passion for equity and diversity in healthcare.

After witnessing firsthand the difficulties and lack of resources facing the Black community in his hometown of Greenwood, Mississippi, Morgan set out to combat these disparities. This goal has led to The Daniel Williams Exposure to Healthcare Program — a monthlong residential program that would promote diversity in medicine.

Winner of our 2023 #OZYGenius Awards in partnership with AT&T’s Dream in Black, Morgan joins 4 geniuses from #HBCUs, along with 7 other geniuses, all working to change the world.
