African Diaspora Conference: Prof Mickie Mwanzia Koster Keynote Speech
Prof. Mickie Mwanzia Koster of the University of Texas at Tyler presents her keynote speech for the Old and New African Diaspora Networks conference. The conference took place on 21 May 2020, and was a joint project between the African Centre for the Study of the United States at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and the African Studies Center at the University of Michigan. Partners include: the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network; the Institute for African Studies at the George Washington University; the Kenya Diaspora Alliance; the Africa Institute of the American Jewish Committee; the Institute for Global Dialogue; the University of South Africa; the Centre of Excellence in Immigration and Mobility of the African Research University Alliance; Good Governance Africa; the African Centre for Migration and Society; and the Center for African Studies at Harvard University.
