Bobi Wine Talks ‘Don’t Pay Our Oppressor’ Single and Ugandan Politics

Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, also known as Bobi Wine, has a new single out called “Don’t Pay Our Oppressor,” that takes aim at Ugandan leadership.

On the track, the musician, who has served as a Parliament member while being public enemy number one at times in Uganda, accuses the east African nation’s President Yoweri Museveni and other African leaders of holding on to power as the people suffer and live in poverty.

Wine joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to break down the song and discuss the state of Uganda.

All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
