Where you go to school will most certainly affect what you end up doing afterwards, so it’s important to consider your post-grad goals when performing your college search. If your main priority is making big bucks after you graduate, there’s definitely no shame in that! Especially considering that the average amount of student loan debt is almost $40,000 once you graduate. This number is even higher for Black students, who have an average debt of over $50,000 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree.
Though Black students are increasingly questioning the value of college , there are several HBCUs where alumni see higher starting salaries than other graduates of historically black colleges and universities. And in this video we will take a look.
