St. Paul (MN) Homelessness (Our Black News 2020 Special Report 1 of 15)

Even before COVID-19 hit, the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have not challenged the current systems in place that would deem the least of thee as ‘unimportant,’ ‘overlooked,’ and poor. This is not the 1960’s or 1970’s Twin Cities when local politicians held themselves to a more higher and rigorous connection with community members. In St. Paul, there is no reason this should ever happen to any single individual our family, no matter what the reasons. Who can sleep when others like us are sleeping outside in the Winter?
