Frank Mitchell: Memories of House Minority Leader Ford

On April 14, 1965, Frank Mitchell became the first Black American Page to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 20th century. Here he describes how former President Gerald Ford supported Mitchell during Ford’s term as Minority Leader in the House of Representatives.
