A Conversation On The State Of Black Business In Miami With Rudy Moise, Eric Knowles and Jim Berry

Eric Knowles- Panelist: Eric has led the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce since 2014. Knowles is the former Senior Director of Government Affairs for Sun Life Stadium and The Miami Dolphins. Some of his core accomplishments in this role include managing a 72,500 person facility, managing tenant relations that included the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, Orange Bowl Championship, and related events; handling the training and management of 3,500 game day employees, and directing all government affairs, as it pertains to Sun Life Stadium and the Miami Dolphins. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University and is a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Dr. Rudolph Moise- Panelist: Dr. Moise, M.B.A. ’94, J.D. ’97, is the current president of the Miami-Dade County Medical Association- the first Haitian-American to hold that position in its 117 year history. Rudy has built a successful thirty-year career in both medicine and business, he served in the United States Air Force Reserve, and has become an important voice for the Haitian American community in South Florida. Moise emigrated from Haiti to Chicago at 17 and spoke no English when he first arrived in the United States. Rudy founded Comprehensive Health Center in 1985, a successful medical practice that specializes in General Practice and pain management. In his new role as president of the Miami-Dade County Medical Association, Moise hopes to provide support for physicians who are facing considerable challenges working in the COVID-19 pandemic, namely by giving them access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and guidance on how to better care for their patients.
