Yolanda King is Clark County's First African-American County Manager
Clark County Manager Yolanda King serves as the CEO of an organization with more than 10,000 employees across 38 departments, a budget of $8.2 billion and responsibility for regional services benefitting 2.4 million residents and 45.6 million annual visitors (2019). The County also provides municipal services to 1.1 million residents in the unincorporated area of the County, which includes the famed Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, King is the first African-American to serve as County Manager and Chief Financial Officer for Nevada’s largest County — something worth celebrating as we observe Black History Month!
