COVID-19 Pandemic | Black Business Council calls for establishment of a black-owned bank

The Black Business Council is calling for the establishment of a black-owned bank, as they say it would be able to aid small businesses and the township and rural economies better.
The council also says a black owned bank would better understand the needs and challenges of these businesses.
They say that the coronavirus pandemic is pushing businesses towards the fourth industrial revolution, but this poses a threat of leaving traditional small businesses and part of the township economy behind.
