COVID-19 origin tracing should be about science, not politics: Chinese Ambassador to South Africa

“It is inherently anti-science for politicians and the intelligence community to trace the origins of viruses,” Chinese Ambassador to South Africa Chen Xiaodong said on Monday in Pretoria, urging the U.S. to stop politicizing the studies into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Chen said the efforts by the U.S. to incriminate China was nothing but a “farce and a terrible scandal for the international community.”
